Two weeks to 24 months; 1:4 ratioSeperate rooms: 2 weeks-9 months/9-24 monthsMeadowbank Schools provides even our tiniest students with a wonderful array of experiences that will assist them as they develop and grow. This safe and nurturing environment gives infants and babies the tools to learn about the world and their surroundings.Our teachers focus is on encouraging children in a positive environment filled with opportunities to learn and have fun. In our program, children will stimulate their senses by interacting with teachers and other children in a room filled with different sounds and sights.We focus on each childs individual needs while still providing them with a safe environment to interact with other children. This includes having lunch with their friends, playing on the floor with appropriate toys and flexing their intellectual muscles.Your children will be very well taken care of while enjoying the wonderful new experiences of their first years. We hope that this will be the first of many rooms your child will experience at our school.

Toddlers: 24 to 30 months; 1:8 ratioWhen babies become toddlers their world changes completely. Socialization and interaction become a priority in their development. As they grow increasingly curious and social we focus on their ability to develop relationships and interact with their environment.Your children will continue develop in learning areas that are appropriate for their individual social and learning needs. Focused teachers and undivided attention will support your child when it comes to language development, social interactions and sensory exploration, without forgetting that having fun is just as important.Twos: 30 to 36 months; 1:8 ratioThe wonderful twos!! Your children are beginning to understand the world a little better. They can communicate their thoughts effectively and understand the interactions with their peers.Language development is the primary focus of our program for two year olds. Our teachers will help your child communicate what they feel and want into words and sentences while providing them with encouragement to develop their thoughts and ideas.

Preschool - PreK

Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten

Preschool: 3 to 4 years; 1:10 ratioOnce a child reaches pre-school their minds are ready to absorb as much information as they possibly can. They start to understand the world better, their interactions are more complex and their coordination is much improved.The program provides a safe environment for your children to quench their thirst for new findings while making new friends and developing their confidence.Pre-Kindergarten: 4 to 5.5 years; 1:10 ratioIn Meadowbank Pre-Kindergarten our focus is on getting your child prepared to enter kindergarten. More structured and goal oriented activities will continue the development of the skills necessary for your child to succeed.Once a child is about to enter kindergarten it is important to focus on independent development in an organized environment. Our teachers will concentrate on your childs learning style and pace while still encouraging participation and interaction with peers.As they become more and more capable, your child will benefit from the organized activities provided in this program and he or she will be ready to embark in the wonderful journey that is kindergarten.

Kindergarten

Meadowbank Schools has the ability to give your child our full attention. With our small class room sizes, children are given an individualized educational plan to allow them to accel in ways that work with different learning styles. Our full-day kindergarten allows for a more relaxed and less tiring instructional pace, with time for children to reflect on their learning. Also providing the time for more classroom involvement, leading to increased productivity. Our curriculum meets state requirements and ensures that your child is prepared to excel at the next level.At Meadowbank we focus on developing your childs intellect with educational games and activities that will introduce them to math, science and language. Structured activities that focus on logical positive outcomes give your child the chance to learn at their own pace.

Summer After-School

Meadowbank offers an extensive summer program for children 6 -12 years of age. This educational and active program keeps your children very busy and engaged all summer long with field trips and many other special activities for all ages. Outdoor play is strongly encouraged! Your child will spend delightful hours climbing, balancing, sliding, swinging, riding, and playing with others. Meadowbank Schools, Inc. partners with a variety of school districts to arrange after-school programs for students. Please inquire for more information about transportation from schools to Meadowbank, specialized tutoring to meet your child's needs, and to learn about the unique after-school opportunities available to students of all ages.

Our planning and preperation is done with the whole child in mind! We respond to the direction of your child's educational path. The process of learning is often more important than the content. Activities are designed to emphasize the experiences children are having rather than the results of those activities. Every child is allowed their own, unique journey at Meadowbank Schools!
Children enrolled at Meadowbank are served nutritious snacks throughout their active day and have the opportunity of a hot lunch on a daily basis! A healthy child must be given the proper ingredients in order to grow and develop, therefore a balanced diet is a key component in the Meadowbank philosophy.

Your child will be able to actively participate as they discover the world around them.
